Finishing the Task
What task?
--the task of bringing the good news of Jesus to every people group on
earth, planting a reproducing church that has the capability of
presenting the gospel to each and every person in that particular group
in a way that will make sense (see Matt. 28:18-20 and Mark 13:10).
Groups that do not have a church like this are considered "unreached."
Finishing the Task (FTT) is an association of mission agencies and
churches who want to see reproducing churches planted among every
people group in the world (www.finishingthetask.com). They are one of
the groups who have worked on listing the people groups of the world
and indicating whether they are unreached and if so whether they are
unengaged. Unengaged means that there are no full time workers seeking
to plant churches among them. The FTT list the Kui as one of the
unengaged unreached people groups of Laos. According to their research
there are no known believers among them.
We want to increase prayer for this unengaged group. Please pray with us for
- workers to go to the Kui people of Laos,
- persons of peace in Kui villages who will receive those bringing the good news and open doors for the gospel, and
- God's Spirit to prepare the hearts of Kui people in Laos to hear and receive the good news.
