Partner Forum

Our missionary friends, who also work with the Kuy, have organized a one day partner forum for those reaching out to Cambodians (including Kuy people) in Preah Vihear Province of Cambodia.
This will take place in the provincial city on Wed. Sept. 18. Twenty workers, foreign missionaries and Cambodians, will gather. Imagine, not one of these people was ministering there in 2002 when we first started working with Kuy in that part of Cambodia!

The purpose of the meeting is to encourage fellowship, share about their ministry plans, see where they can be of help to each another, exchange resources and pray for each another. Please pray for these goals to be achieved.

And, an update on the audio recording of Luke, the Story Bible and some songs in Kuy. In our friend's own words,

"We are halfway through the recordings and things are going beyond our expectations and hopes! Everybody on the team is really involved, and God's Spirit is tangibly present. We expect to have recorded all the stories/chapters by Wednesday afternoon, and can, therefore, keep Thursday for recording some music and songs. So it seems that we'll be able to complete everything that we planned within these 8 recording days. From time to time we're also having lots of fun. In particular towards the end of the day the readers have moments when they just cannot stop laughing!"

Praise God for this answer to prayer and pray for Huon. He is the only one on the team who hasn't yet trusted the Savior. Pray that he'll open his heart to God.
