In November we asked you to pray for Linda and Pailin as they did linguistic survey work on the Kuy language in Cambodia. Linda is with Wycliffe, working on a Masters in Linguistics from a University in Thailand. Her thesis is on the Kuy Language in Cambodia. Thank you for your prayers. They had a very smooth trip, were able to get where they needed to go and gather the information they needed. We mentioned that Linda had a Gospel Recordings tape in Kuy that she would be taking along. Here is the rest of that story.

During previous survey trips one of the Kuy helpers in the village of Rumchek was Rii. Rii shared that many years ago his father had gotten to know a Christian missionary, professed faith in Christ and made a tape in the Kuy language for the missionary. After the missionary left, there was no one to encourage him and he went back to Buddhism. After listening to the tape from Gospel Recordings, Linda was convinced that it must be Rii's father. She was able to take the tape to Rii in December. We believe that this was no accident. We trust that God will use this tape to plant his church in Rumchek village. Please join us in praying that as Rii and others listen to his late father's voice telling the Good News they will hear the voice of their Heavenly Father.

Thank you for your prayers for us as we made our return trip to Cambodia. All went well. We are now settling back in here. Please pray for wisdom as we work out the details of our strategic plan for the Kuy.
