In past updates we have shared about the primacy of
prayer and the value we place on partnerships. One of our prayer partnerships is
with the World Harvest Centre in Fiji. They have adopted the Kuy people of
Cambodia and had already been praying for them even before we got
connected. We have been encouraged by their commitment to pray and their
interest in our ministry. Reverend Suliasi Kurulo will be coming to visit us and
to see the need among the Kuy next week (24-27 March).
Also next week, Scott will be coming to assist us for
six weeks. He is a young man that Tom met at the Intervarsity Missions
Conference in Urbana last December. We hope that he will be able to help with
some follow-up survey work in remote areas that Tom was unable to get to last
year.
- Pray for safe travel as Tom takes our guests to Kuy areas by road. Pray
that they will have divine appointments and that Rev. Kurulo will
get to see who the Kuy are, become aware of their needs and understand
our vision for them.
- Ask the Lord for wisdom that we may maximize Scott's time here.
- Pray for Scott to experience God's protection, wisdom and guidance in all
that he does here with us over the next few weeks.
- Continue to ask God to raise up Cambodian partners who can begin to help
implement a storytelling strategy of evangelism among the Kuy.
