Growth   

 

    We were excited to learn of another church meeting in a home in the Kuy village of Andas. It was started by Kee, a Kuy pastor, from Phum Srae where there is a Methodist church. He said that the church was already full at Phum Srae, so felt they should meet in their own village. This is just the kind of multiplication we are happy to see happening. Please pray for more of the same.

 

    Thank you to all who prayed for Tom's two week stay in the Kuy village last month. We have many praises for that time. Tom stayed healthy and safe (as did Lynn and kids). He was able to learn some very basic Kuy conversation. He also got a good start at some helpful relationships in the village.

 

        Tom and three other men, including Jet, the Khmer church leader from Kampong Thom, will be traveling to some remote Kuy areas for about a week starting this Wed., 20 April. They will go by motorbike to an area where Jet has relatives and a number of Kuy villages which Tom has not yet visited. Their purpose is to do some survey work and also to test out some Khmer Bible stories in the village of Rumchek where Tom has some relationships already.  Pray for safe travel, good health, places to stay (there are not always guest houses available) and a productive time.
