Last month we asked for prayer on learning the
worldview of the Kuy people. Tom has set up an
opportunity to spend a couple of weeks in a village
this month. He will be leaving tomorrow. He wants to
take the first baby step toward learning the Kuy
language. It will also provide a chance to get
better acquainted with some Kuy people and begin to
better understand their culture and worldview. We
would appreciate prayer for
- his safety and health. He will be driving his
motorcycle up. Kuy diet tends to be pretty simple
and life in the village very basic.
- development of good relationships with Kuy
people.
- good progress in language acquisition.
- Tom to be in the right places at the right times
to learn all the lessons about Kuy worldview
possible.
- Lynn and kids at home without Tom.
