The Basics

Rice is the staple food here in Cambodia. About 80% of the people are subsistence rice farmers. They depend on rain in the right amounts and at the right time in order to have the food they need to eat. They cannot get along without the rice (or the rain).

Prayer is the staple of church planting. We depend on God to produce fruit even as we work to introduce people to Him. Our vision for the Kuy people is a Church Planting Movement; hundreds of house churches, at least one in each Kuy village of Cambodia. This will only happen by the power of God. We need your prayer for some basics this month.

• Pray for a Kuy partner to work with us and lead efforts in getting the Bible stories widely distributed among the Kuy.
• Pray for God's work in the hearts of the Kuy, preparing them to hear and receive the Word.
• Pray for men and women of peace in the villages who will pave the way for us.
• Pray that God will plant his church, that there will be a Church Planting Movement among the Kuy of Cambodia soon.
