Kuy Christian Gathering
A first is taking
place this month! Kuy Christians from several villages and from both
Kuy dialects of Cambodia will be gathering for two days of fellowship,
28-29 March. The meeting was planned in conjunction with missionaries
in the north of the country and Kuy followers of Christ from two
villages. It will be a group af about 20-25 representatives from about
10 fellowships. Most have not yet met Kuy believers form outside their
own villages.
Apart from just
getting to know each other and sharing their stories the program will
include worship together using Kuy language, time to pray for all the
other Kuy villages with no churches, a workshop on creating Kuy worship
songs, and time to think about Kuy culture and faith in Christ.
The meeting will take place in
O'Krouch village where they can use the community building for meeting,
sleeping and eating. An offering will be taken to cover the food costs.

- each person to increase in vision for outreach to other Kuy villages,
- excitement about worshiping in their own language and culture and
- Kuy Christians to have a vision for doing the same kind of gatherings on their own.
