Remove the Blinders

Notice the strings tied around the necks of these little girls. These are not decorations. They are charms to ward off evil spirits. Like many peoples, the Kuy people believe in spirits and spend their lives trying to appease them so that they will not suffer at their hands. They live in fear of what the evil spirits might do to them if they make them unhappy. We long for them to know the Almighty Sovereign Lord of the universe who is more powerful than all these spirits and who loves them perfectly and desires only their good. But they have been blinded by the enemy of our souls. Please pray for God to break the hold of the wrong beliefs and fear that the enemy has instilled in their hearts. Pray with us for

♦  Freedom from fear of spirits
♦  Demonstrations of the power of God so that they can clearly see that God is far superior to all other spirits
