Outreach Time

December in Cambodia is the time for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is their biggest celebration, often involving a program of singing, drama, preaching and a traditional meal of curry with noodles. These programs are usually outreach oriented and they invite family, friends and neighbors. Pray for many to join these celebrations in the small Kuy churches and for clear understanding of the Christmas message.

Our friends, who also work with the Kuy, together with a colleague and another worker, hope to spend a few days as tourists in a neighboring country, traveling in an area where they have heard a language is spoken that is closely related to Kuy.  They will travel 18 to 22 December.  Please pray for God’s guidance, protection from any kind of harm, and His blessings on each contact and on their time together—that it may be relaxed and they that may enjoy the tourist sights. Please pray for their daughter too, who will be at home in the village with her grandparents.
