Obstacles and Delays

 

    Last month we asked for your prayers for a CD project. Right now Tom is in Kampong Thom with Kuy friends to try to get this project off the ground. He wants to produce a CD with Bible stories told in Kuy language, appropriate music and some testimonies of Kuy believers. There are two Kuy pastors who have agreed to translate the stories. Actually, what they are doing is learning the stories by listening to them in Khmer and then telling them in Kuy so that they can be recorded.

 

    A variety of obstacles have led to delays in this project. Meetings called at the last moment kept people from being available, injuries kept people from being able to travel and rain got in the way, to mention a few problems. We need your intercession on our behalf. We would like to see the project completed by the end of July. Please pray that the Lord would intervene and the obstacles could be overcome and continue to pray:

 

• for accurate translation of the stories to Kuy,
• for the stories to be told well so as to be interesting and well understood,
• for a good technical process of recording,
• for appropriate music, especially traditional Kuy and Khmer music,
• for the right testimonies to include.
