Telling
the Story
Relationship is key to
evangelism and, language is key to relationship.
When we know people and are known by them it is
much easier to impart and to receive new
information and ideas. With this idea in mind,
next week Tom will be heading up to the same Kuy
village where he stayed last year for some
language and worldview study. He is also hoping
to do a little training in Bible Story telling
with a couple of Kuy pastors with whom he is
developing friendships. They'll start in Khmer,
which they know well and are accustomed to using
for preaching. Our hope is that once they see
the value of using stories, they will want to
tell them in Kuy as well.
